Terms and Conditions

Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of this website and any work you hire Wraptight El Paso Insulation Company to do. When you use the site, ask for an estimate or book a job, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work with us.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Wraptight El Paso Insulation Company and our crew. "You" means the person using the site or hiring us for work at a home or building.
What we do
We're an insulation contractor in El Paso, TX. We insulate attics, walls and crawl spaces, seal air gaps, and remove old insulation in homes and some commercial buildings in El Paso and the cities around it. We're licensed and insured.
The services and cities on our home page and our about page describe our work in general. They aren't a promise that every service fits every building. We may turn down a job we don't think we can do well or safely.
Estimates and pricing
Our estimates are free and done in person, and asking for one puts you under no obligation. We base the estimate on what we can see and measure on the visit, such as how many inches are already in the attic, how easy the space is to reach and the material you choose.
The written estimate or agreement for your job sets the price and lists what's included. That price holds for the period the document states, and after that we may need to look again before we confirm it.
Some problems only show up once the work starts, like old insulation that's wet or full of droppings, damaged framing, or wiring that has to be dealt with before it gets covered. If we find something like that, we'll stop, show you and explain what it changes. We won't do extra work or charge for it unless you approve it first.
Scheduling, access and cancellation
We'll set a start date with you and tell you about how long the crew will be at your house. Weather, attic heat, material deliveries and what we find once the job is open can move that date, and we'll tell you as soon as we know.
Some work, like spray foam, means you, your family and your pets need to be out of the house for a while. We'll tell you the re-entry time, when it's safe to come back inside, before the day of the job, and you agree to follow it.
On the scheduled day, you agree to give our crew safe access to the attic, crawl space or work area, and to move stored items out of the way unless we've agreed to do it.
If you need to reschedule or cancel, call us at (915) 265-1142 as early as you can. If we've already ordered special material or started work, your agreement may have you pay for that material and for the work done so far.
Payment
Payment terms, including any deposit and when the balance is due, are written in your estimate or agreement. Unless that document says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.
If a payment is late, we may pause further work until it's paid. You'll also be responsible for reasonable costs of collecting an unpaid balance, to the extent Texas law allows.
Our work and warranties
Your satisfaction, guaranteed. If something about the finished work doesn't look right, tell us and we'll come back and look at it with you.
Any written warranty for your job will be in your agreement, and it's the only warranty we give for that job. Insulation and foam products carry their makers' warranties, which come from the maker, not from us, and usually depend on the product being installed and used the way the maker says.
Except where we state it in writing or the law requires it, we don't promise a certain drop in your power bill or a set indoor temperature. Those depend on things outside our work, like your windows, ductwork, cooling system and how the house is run.
The information on this website is general and offered as is. It isn't advice for your particular house, and we don't promise it's complete or current.
Limits on our liability
We aren't responsible for conditions that were there before we started, like existing mold, pests, roof leaks or wiring problems, unless our work caused them or made them worse.
To the extent Texas law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, such as lost use of a room or lost income. Our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as liability for injury caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Settling a disagreement
If you're unhappy with anything, call us first, because most problems get settled with a conversation and a return visit. If that doesn't work, we both agree to try in good faith to settle it, including through mediation if we both agree to it, before anyone files a lawsuit.
Any lawsuit about these terms or our work must be filed in the state courts serving El Paso County, Texas, unless the law requires a different court.
Which state's law applies
These terms and our work are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
If we work on a property in New Mexico and that state's law requires something different for that job, those requirements apply to that job.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time by posting the new version on this page. The terms in place when you sign your estimate or agreement are the ones that apply to that job.
If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
